Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed new attic insulation.
Solutions provided:
Remove all insulation and fecal matter in the two main attic spaces. (Does not include garage) Sterifab to disinfect and treat for mites, lice, and bacteria. Install baffles at soffit lines and around entry points. Insulation entry points with foam board insulation. Air seal any crack, gap, and conduit line leading from the conditioned space to the attic. Install can light covers over recess lights and seal with spray foam. Blow in new cellulose insulation to R49 (14 inches). Replace white vents on soffit lines with new white vents. Remove fallen insulation and install new R19 batted paper faced insulation on the floor joists. Secure with metal rods. Insulate one copper pipe with black foam insulation. Fix one hvac hard duct as best as possible and seal with hvac tape. Insulation on the walk that has fallen will be completely removed.
