The customer had squirrels in their attic.
Solutions provided:
Install critter guard (brown metal) along front sub roofing gap to prevent entry of squirrels. Install one roof vent guard on the attic fan to prevent entry of animals. Install copper cloth and clear caulk on bottoms of corner channels and inverted corner channels. Install brown metal over bird hole on corner channel where birds have made a home. Remove accessible nesting and sterifab area to disinfect. Install stainless steel screen over gas fireplace exhaust vent to prevent entry of birds. On lower front gutter, temporarily remove gutter helmet and remove debris from gutter. Reinstall gutter helmet back in place as best as possible. Unclog the downspout connected to the same gutter as best as possible. Install brown metal between gutter helmet and siding indicated by technician to prevent entry of birds into gutter area.
Remove blown in fiberglass insulation and fecal matter. Sterifab the entire attic space to disinfect and treat for mites, lice, and bacteria. Install new baffles at soffit lines. Air seal any crack, gap, and conduit line for better energy efficiency. Possible openings for mice will have copper cloth installed to help slow the progress of the mice into the attic space. Remove old entry door and install metal walk down stairs for easier access to the attic space. Install an attic tent after stairs are installed. Any drywall work will be mudded and sanded. Paint not included. Blow in new cellulose insulation to R49 (14 inches) to Virginia standards.
