The customer had squirrels in their attic.
Solutions provided:
Install critter guard along front and rear gutter lines to prevent entry of squirrels. Install colored metal to match home as best as possible on front apexes of the home. Install same colored metal on the rake boards on the rear left and right side to prevent entry of animals. Sections of the rake boards will be replaced with new 1×6 pressure treated wood.
Remove all batted/blown in insulation and fecal matter in the attic space. Sterifab to disinfect and treat for mites, lice, and bacteria. Air seal gaps and conduit lines for energy efficiency. Install baffles at the soffit lines and around the entry point. Install foam board insulation on the entry door and weather stripping at the entry point. Install new batted fiberglass glass on the knee walls. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach levels of 14 inches (R49).
