The customer had squirrels in their attic.
Solutions provided:
-Remove all of the batted fiberglass insulation. Sterifab to disinfect and treat for mites, lice, and bacteria. Install new baffles at the soffit lines. Air seal gaps and conduit lines for energy efficiency. Some storage boards may need to be pulled up for insulation removal. Re install the existing boards or if boards are broken in the process new boards will be installed. Baffle around the storage area. Install an attic tent for energy efficiency. Blow in new cellulose insulation to reach 14 inches (R49).Storage items will need to be removed from the attic prior to the insulation work.
Replace damaged rake board sections indicated by the technician. Install stone beige colored metal over the rake boards on both sides of the home. Includes the vertical section of rake board that runs along the front and rear mansard style roof. Will prevent entry of squirrels and other animals into the attic space.
Remove the screening on the 750 vent and the attic fan from the inside of the attic.
Install one RVG (roof vent guard) over the attic fan to prevent entry of animals into the attic space.
Install stone beige critter guard on the corner sections of the four windows near the roof line to prevent animal entry.
